Idealgrass has been designed using Tapex Ultimate yarn which outperforms other products in the key measure of toughness, requiring 25% more energy to break than its nearest competitor. The result is a lawn surface that's incredibly natural in appearance and wonderfully soft underfoot, yet durable and long wearing.

Idealgrass is UV stabilised and designed to handle our extreme Australian climate. It is ideal for heavily shaded areas where natural grass can struggle and thanks to the 'thatching' fibres tufted into the base during manufacture, Idealgrass retains its shape under the heaviest traffic.

Because Idealgrass requires no watering, you can play a part in conserving water without sacrificing your lawn. Idealgrass gives you a lush, manicured green lawn, under every level of water restriction and with a 10-year warranty and that means many years of relaxation...

We understand that people have different preferences for grass which is why we have designed five 'seasonal' varieties of Idealgrass. Our varieties include a range of colour tones, in different combinations, pile heights and thicknesses, all of them proudly part of the Australian Made campaign!

Prograss is proud to offer the latest addition to our range, 'Ideal Ultimate'. Ideal Ultimate has a truly luxurious appearance and is so densely constructed (using a triple mix Tapex Ultimate yarn composition) that it requires no infill!

  • Ideal Spring: 37mm dark green turf; Tapex Ultimate yarn; thatching layer to lock in rubber infill.
  • Ideal Summer: 50mm;  Durotuft product : the first two tone yarn in Australia with both thick and thin blade supplied as a single yarn. Formulated with the same polymer composition as Ideal Ultimate, we believe that this new product will take pride of place in our landscape range;thatching layer to lock in rubber infill.
  • All Seasons: 37mm; Durotuft product;the first two tone yarn in Australia with both thick and thin blade supplied as a single yarn; thatching layer to lock in rubber infill.
  • Ideal Autumn: 37mm olive green turf; thatching layer to lock in rubber or sand infill.  Designed for childcare centres, school ovals or where price matters.
  • Ideal Winter: 40mm light and dark green turf; mono-filament yarn; thatching layer to lock in rubber infill
  • Ideal Ultimate: 50mm mid green turf; triple mix Tapex Ultimate yarn, lush and thick so no infill required
