What does the Australian Made endorsement mean to me?
The Australian Made endorsement is a sign of Integrity and Quality.
It means that the product has been made in Australia for Australian conditions. Not only is the product Australian made, it also means that the yarn itself is manufactured in Australia.
Many competitors use the term 'Australian Made'. However, they are only referring to the fact that the product itself is manufactured in Australia, whilst the yarn is imported from overseas. Therefore their products are not classified under the Australian Made Campaign and they cannot (or should not) use the Logo in marketing.
Australian Made is a sign that Australian jobs have been created to manufacture the product. So buying a product with the Australian Made endorsement means you are helping to boost the Australian economy....something all Australians should encourage!
